Ingredients
- 4 Bone-In Pork Chops
- 2 TBSP Oil
- Salt and Pepper To Taste
- 1 Cup Mushrooms Sliced
- 1 Yellow Onion Chopped
- 4 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
Instructions
- Prep and measure all your ingredients before getting started. This will save you the heartache of rushing later. Nobody likes a burned pork chop!
- Season your pork chops with salt and pepper
- Heat the oil in the skillet on medium/high heat and sear both sides of the pork chops until they're golden brown. Set them aside on a plate
- Sautee the mushrooms and onions until they're soft
- Add the garlic until it's fragrant
- Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the skillet. Let it come to a simmer
- Reduce the heat to medium/low and add in the heavy whipping cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let it simmer until it becomes thick and creamy
- Add the pork chops back to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chops. Let them simmer until reaching an internal temperature of 145℉
- Pairs really well with rice pilaf or mashed potatoes
